Gingin District High School showed their stamina at the annual interschool cross country competition at Gingin Golf Course on Friday May 26, with Gingin students winning all categories in the Years 7-10 heats and being the overall points winners of the day.

Gingin District High School sportsteacher, Louise Devine-Egan congratulated all runners and thanked all involved in setting up the course and making the day possible, “Thank you to Gingin District High School staff in particular Chippy, Vanessa and Secondary Faction captains for arranging the course. A LOT of time and effort goes into an event like this and it wouldn’t be possible without the help of others. This was Chippy’s 17th Interschool Cross Country and he is still killing it.”

“I was so proud of all the students at Gingin and their dedication to the event. Our Fun Run was only the week before so for the kids to step up and run their hearts out again with some breaking records was great to see.  Their effort was sensational and the results of our Secondary students was unbelievable. 4 secondary plaques up for grabs and it was a clean sweep for Gingin Secondary students. What a result!!!”
