The Bindoon and Districts Agricultural Show will end with a bang this year on Saturday 14 October thanks to the significant financial assistance of Tronox as
major sponsor of the fireworks. The fireworks are a highlight on the Show program and commence at 8pm. The Society extends its gratitude to Tronox
for their continued support.
Well done to Bindoon Primary School students, year 4 Ella Kay and year 6 Tarni Bin Omar, whose artwork has been selected by Shire of Chittering CEO Alan
Sheridan to appear on the front cover of this year’s Schedule Booklet. In line with our Show U R Green project, the Schedule is being printed on recycled paper using vegetable-based dyes. Copies of the Schedule will be available from public offices and retailers throughout the Northern Valleys later this month.
For those looking for rainy day school holiday activities, it’s time for kids to start preparing their entries to the Show. Some fun indoor crafts to get started on
are Lego, watercolour painting, stamp art, handmade cards and masks, crocheting and embroidery.
Stallholder applications are now open and there are limited spaces so be quick. The form can be downloaded from www.bindoonshow.com.
We are seeking volunteers to help with the Show. We need helpers with skills or time to assist with pre-show day activities such as setting up of the grounds including erecting temporary fencing, shelters, signs etc, or assisting on the day of the Show.
