The 106th Moora Show is fast approaching and the 2017 Show Schedule will soon be available online and in hard copy from the Moora Post Office. As this has always been an Agricultural show the committee of dedicated volunteers wish to continue to run it as such, so we need the commitment and support from not only locals but the farming community to ensure that a number of the sections are able to continue into the future. The past few years has seen the decline in entries in the following sections:
Section A – Sheep (Stewards – Maria Wood 9654 3012 or Gaden Rose 9651 4340)
Section B – Wool (Steward – Ben Hall 0427 545 042)
Section C – Trade Cattle (Steward – Ben Hall 0427 545 042)
Section E – Grain and Fodder (Steward – Peter Popplewell 9651 4446)
Without your support in the above sections there is a real risk that they may be dropped from next year’s show schedule and this would mean that the Moora show would become just another commercial trade show. Anyone interested in exhibiting in any of the above sections is encouraged to contact the Stewards directly to discuss how they can get involved.
