The Shire of Gingin is pleased to announce the Gingin Aquatic Centre has a new corporate sponsor. Empire Oil and Gas has partnered with the Shire as corporate sponsor of the aquatic centre for the next two years and, depending on their venture within the Shire, their sponsorship may continue into future years.
Empire Oil and Gas has committed $10,000 per annum in sponsorship funding towards asset renewal works at the pool.
This funding also coincides with a major upgrade of the pool which is scheduled for the end of the 2015/16 aquatic centre season.
“We are looking forward to this partnership with the Shire of Gingin,” said Empire Oil and Gas CEO Ken Aitken. “Empire Oil and Gas are committed to supporting local businesses and community groups, and we see this partnership as upholding this principle.”
Shire of Gingin CEO Jeremy Edwards added, “It is great to see local businesses taking a genuine interest in our community and its infrastructure, and the sponsorship from Empire Oil and Gas will go a long way toward the refurbishment works scheduled for this facility.”
