The Chittering Tourist Association is seeking interested businesses or community groups that want to hold an event during this year’s Chittering Spring Festival.

Celebrating its 25th year, the Chittering Spring Festival has persevered over the years and is now evolving into a 3-week long festival. Hence the need for more interesting, quirky and fun events to take place, keeping in line with the festival theme of wild flowers, arts and heritage. Over the last 25 years the festival has taken on many forms whether it be one day, a weekend or four day event. The new 3-week format will be completely different again and has received great support from current participating groups, the Chittering Shire and the CTA committee.

The festival will be launched at the hugely popular A Taste of Chittering and will finish with a CTA-run event on the 14 September and the Historic Vehicle Day on the 15 September. Event organiser, Amy McAuliffe is looking forward to the challenge and is excited about the new events from some community groups that have already expressed an interest.

You can obtain an application pack from bindinfo@iinet.net.au or see Amy at the Chittering Visitor Centre from Monday to Wednesday. Queries can be directed to 0400 298 884. Applications will need to be in by 15 February 2019.
