Meet the brumbies! These six gorgeous ponies were running wild on Mundrabilla station earlier this year, but are now bombproof after being trained in the 4BP method by Joe Hughes and his crew.
Since completing their training at Mundrabilla, the horses have travelled via Esperance and Margaret river on their way to Gingin where some will compete in the Hopes ‘n Dreams Pink Lady Classic Barrel race.
Along the way they have been ridden along roads in traffic, through the surf at a Margaret River beach and in and out of buildings. They have all met the requirements of 4BP and Joe is confident they are rock solid mounts, ready to find new loving homes and continue their journeys with new riders.
The auction will take place on 25 March around 1pm at Gingin Campdraft grounds, after the Hopes ‘n dreams Pink Lady Classic Barrel Race .

4BP is a method of training that can see a horse trained in as little as 1.5 hrs, from an untouched wild horse straight from the scrub.
To mount, ride and slide off the horses bum in an average of 3-5 hrs.

Mozzie: 13hh 6 yold mare with a white splash. Mozzie has a huge heart and loves adventures. Incredibly responsive to seat and only requires the lightest tough on the reins
Sarge: 7 yo Grey gelding. Sarge is a bombproof ride – nothing upsets him! He has been ridden in rough surf, on roads and inside buildings. he is fairly smoochy and enjoys a cuddle.
Pepper: 14hh 3 yo filly.
Little Pepper is rising three.
She is shy and timid but very trusting an will do everything asked of her. When she doesn’t understand she will mumble with her lips. Such a character!
Splash: 14hh Bay gelding. Splash is a horse you can rely on at any time. She turns left to right and backs up. She has an easy walk and nice trot. Stands straight when doing saddling and is able to walk behind.
Jet: 3 yo black gelding 14.2. Jet is a beautiful black gelding who out on a trail ride is not matey and very confident in himself. He is very responsive and also enjoys jumping. Loves cuddles!
MJ: 4yo black gelding 14.1hh.
MJ has a beautiful calm nature and is soft to work with. He loves cuddling, eye rubs and kisses and has deadly breaks and a big open lazy canter that’s easy to sit in. Not big on jumping but loves water
