Eight seconds is not long, it’s over in flash.
But it’s an eternity if you’re perched on an
angry bull! There are people out there that do
it for fun and they’re coming to Mogumber.
Cowboys from Derby to Rawliner, from
interstate and over the ditch, will converg
on Mogumber Tavern from 6pm on Saturday
July 14 to try and outlast each other on board
a bucking bovine.
Open and rookie bull riders will compete for
substantial prize money, plus for the less
experienced there’s an Arriba bull riding
competition.
The hugely popular Mutton Buster
competition is open to kids under 25kg, and is
sure to provide plenty of laughter along with
the thrills and spills.
Free camping is available adjacent to the
Tavern and arena, a good plan if you want
to party on after the event with a live DJ
spinning tunes in the pub until late.
