Calling all buskers!
It’s that time of year again! Held on the long weekend in September, Lancelin comes alive with music. Buskers from all over WA will be performing throughout the weekend entertaining locals and visitors across a number of venues. Sunday is competition day where our buskers will perform for cash prizes, finishing off with an Open Jam Session and presentations in the Sand Bar at the Lancelin Beach Hotel.
Busking is a great way for you to showcase your talents, get more experience and exposure to different audiences. Lancelin Buskers Festival is now in its third year and is growing in popularity. It’s time to get registered!
The 2018 Program includes:
Saturday 22 Open Day — Buskers are invited to perform “free style” around town.
Sunday 23 9am to 3pm — A program will be provided for buskers to perform at different times and locations around town. Judges will visit each performance throughout the day.
Sunday 4pm onwards — Buskers are invited to celebrate and perform in an Open Jam Session in the Sand Bar at the Lancelin Beach Hotel. Includes judge’s presentation and people’s choice award.
