Bullsbrook Volunteer Fire and Emergency Service

The bushfire season is in full swing with local brigades kept very busy with call outs. Please do your bit to support the brigades and more importantly prepare your family and friends to be Bushfire Ready.

Bushfires fires are unpredictable and happen every year.

The single biggest killer is indecision. To survive a bushfire you must be prepared to make your own decisions.

1. When will you know to leave?
2. Where will you go?
3. Which way will you go?

You can join your local Bushfire Ready groups and have the information you need to prepare yourselves and your families.

The Bullsbrook Volunteer Fire and Emergency Service (BVFES) is a team of over 50 local volunteers – you will see us training regularly to ensure we are ready to help you when you need us.

2019 Bushfire season promises to be a year of too much fuel based on the past two years being quiet bushfire seasons and a very wet winter.

We are keen to re-invigorate our community Bushfire Ready Groups. These are your community groups that help to ensure you are fully informed of ‘anything bushfire’ in our area. We encourage you to contact Bullsbrook brigade or one of our focused team to become involved and prepared for this coming bushfire season.

Please call Shirley 0400 091057 or Adrian 0407 705566 to get information on the bushfire ready groups in our area.
