Birth of a regional brand


As so often is the case, in the challenge to find a name for a new local newspaper, we stumbled upon what we believe is pretty exciting stuff and long overdue.

We required a name which captured all our region – did not bias any one particular area and allowed sub brands and localities to be upheld.

Northern Valleys is a branding concept which is quickly gathering support across our business people and community representatives. Our aim is to present this to the WA Tourism Commission to be funded and recognised as a new “tourist icon” and maybe one day be recognised just like the Swan Valley and Avon Valley.
