Miling Primary School has been busy creating an amazing Nature Play Area, and a grand opening was held on Friday July 21. It was a fun, exciting and successful event with many families and community members attending the ceremony and sundowner afterwards, and the kids playing for hours in the new space. The nature play area is a great asset to the school and will be utilised for play and learning experiences for many years to come. There are many great features in the area including a fort, rock climbing tunnel, teepee, balance rope triangle, a water trough, plants, vegetable garden and many rocks, logs
and tyres to climb over, jump from and even sit on for classroom sessions. We would like to thank all of our donors, sponsors and busy bee helpers for their
very generous contributions.

Families have donated rocks, logs, tyres, the use of machinery and lots of time and effort. It is incredible what a small school and community can achieve.
Our sponsors and donors include Bunnings Joondalup, Dallcon, Dave Watson Tree Lopping, Coerco, Meers IGA Moora and the Miling Hotel. We would like to make a special mention of the Shire of Moora for the generous grant which helped enormously in this project, and for their support.
