If you are looking for something different to do, pop on your wellies and head to Bindoon on Sunday 22 June!

Park your car at Edmonds Place Reserve so you can browse the Chittering Farmers Market.  Our monthly community market offers local hand-made arts ‘n’ crafts, home-grown plants, fruit ‘n’ vegetables, home-cooked goodies plus bric-a-brac and a car boot sale, from 9am through until mid-afternoon.

Take a ten minute stroll down Lane Needoonga Walk to Clune Park and be part of the official opening at 10.15am.  More information about the Bindoon Tale Trail can be found on the Shire of Chittering website www.chittering.wa.gov.au – click Discover then Bindoon Townsite Heritage Walk.

After the opening, walk along the Tale Trail back to the inaugural Wear Ya Wellies family fun day and enjoy the festivities from 11am.  Experience REAL SNOW in the Snow-2-You truck, try the muddy maze or your test your skills in the welly tossing competition!  Plus there will be face painting, air brush tattoos, a baby animal farm, winter craft activities and pony rides.  Bring along a change of clothes, there will be marquees available to change the kids in.  Hot food and drinks are available.

This is a FREE event but if you get your hands on a competition entry beforehand, you can go in the draw at the event to win some fantastic prizes.  Pick up a form from the Shire Administration in Bindoon or contact Alison on 9576 4600 or chatter@chittering.wa.gov.au.

Thanks to the Department of Environment, Chittering Youth Krew, Chittering Farmers Markets, Northern Valleys News and ADRA for making this day of fun, family and festivities possible.
