With the Spring Flower Festival coming up 15 – 17 September, the school holidays is
a good time for kids to get creative and enter some of the competitions held as part of the festival.

Make your own mini garden

Create an imaginary world in a mini terrarium! It could be a fairy garden, hobbit hideout, beachscape or Jurassic world…
Use interesting plants, flowers and natural objects to create your mini world and inhabit with fairies, gnomes or animals!

Entrants must be aged 12 and under. Gardens can be set in a glass bowl, ceramic pot, bucket or similar and are not to be larger than 60cm.
Materials used can be recycled or new. Points will be awarded for visual appearance, use of plants and imagination!
Gardens must be received by Thursday 14 September 2017

Get out and explore bushland over the holidays hunting for wildflowers. We are again holding a photography competition to be displayed at the Spring Flower Festival this year for Juniors (15 and under) and Seniors (16 and over).
Enrolment forms and terms and conditions available at the Chittering Visitor Centre.
